What to know
Waste Connections replaces Al Clawson Disposal as the city's solid waste provider Oct. 1, and existing customer accounts do not transfer automatically. [1]
Residents were told to sign up by phone or online; Waste Connections then schedules delivery of one 95-gallon trash cart and one 95-gallon recycling cart. [1]
Residents must separately contact Al Clawson Disposal to end service at the end of September and get cart-removal instructions; the city advised against canceling early to avoid a collection gap. [1]
Routes were still being finalized, so some residents could have a new collection day; recycling is collected every other week. [1]
Commercial customers were asked to set up service no later than Sept. 24. [1]
