What to know

The City Council approved a $1,470,425 agreement with Griffin-Swinerton on July 8 to act as owner's representative for the Downtown District's first phase. [1]

The roughly six-month first phase is expected to conclude with a Downtown District Report from Griffin-Swinerton. [1]

City agenda documents indicate the $1,470,425 contract amount is expected to be shared with the Liberty Hill Economic Development Corporation: $1 million from general fund reserves and $470,425 from the EDC. Final spending could require a future FY2026 budget amendment, and the agreement is expected in the FY2027-31 Capital Improvement Plan. [1]
