Liberty Hill Plans Parker's Mercantile Downtown Activation

The City of Liberty Hill announced plans to transform the former Parker's Corner Market into "Parker's Mercantile," a temporary downtown activation space. Operated by Mike Farr under a city lease, the venue is expected to open on weekends later in the summer.

What to know

The city partnered with Mike Farr, owner of Wish Kitchen & Bar, to operate Parker's Mercantile as a community-focused destination featuring live music, shopping, and food. [1]

City Council approved $150,000 in improvements for the building during a March 25 budget amendment to address safety concerns. [1]

The activation is intended as a temporary measure while long-term downtown redevelopment plans continue to develop. [1]
